Cask with Mes at the Market Porter, 2nd Sept 2007. Darkish gold with a small white head. Flowery, citrusy hop nose but tea flavour lets it down. Creamy mouthfeel and lingering finish but this is average at best I’m afraid.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Market Porter. Mid gold with a decent white head. Nice grapefuity hop nose. Thin malty tea flavour. Really not my thing at all. As soon as I detect tea in anything I am totally put off. Thin yet sticky mouthfeel. Not my thing.

Cask Conditioned and on hand Pump at The Ale Wagon in Leicester. On 22nd Jan 05 during the Rate Beer Leicester meet/crawl. No sparkler. Mid brown colour. Not much in the way of Aroma, but a great taste. One of the best & most solid beers of the day :)
