Cask in Blackfriars. This is a one veriety hop i believe, from thier one english hop verity series. Aroma starts of very earthy and mixed, however as it drinks goes onto piney, lightly zesty biscuity toffee malts. Taste has a decent hearty malt backing, spicey toffee notes, slightly hop resin and a wee bit of tart blackcurrent notes. Quite an intresting beer.

Gravity Cask @ Guide Dog Beer Festival.Copper. not especially hoppy. Slightly toasted malts and hints of fruity sweetness. Could really do with more bitterness.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. The pumpclip was ’Acorn Fuggles IPA 5%’ Not sure if it was a new version. dark gold with a small white head. Slightly burnt malt aroma. This is a British IPA with quite decent hoppiness and just a hint of dark chocolate. Tasty and good.

Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Amber brown with an off-white head. Aromas are sweet toffee malts with pine. Quite damp and sweaty. Flavours are toffee and green pine hops. Some biscuit malts. Quite watery, but OK.
