Bottle, from Vroni’s in Bamberg. Chestnut red, moderate off white head and gentle condition. Disappointingly brief aromas of caramel and buttery toffee, much the same in the mouth but with an emerging hop note that soon disappears. Finish is mainly burnt toffee with a touch of bitterness.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Malty and strong aroma. Tastes spicy and strong, a bit alcoholic, finish a bit hard. Good beer!

Bottle. Quite malty, nutty, bready, with some sweet caramel notes. Finish shows some light grassy hop notes. A slightly sweeter German dunkel. Not too bad in the end.

Bottle from the E-center in Bad Staffelstein. Chestnut coloured with a slight head. Slightly sweet caramel aroma with some almond nuttiness. Flavours of red fruit and toffee with an abrupt dry finish. Ok.

bottled. slightly hazy brown, leathery aroma, lightly toffeed, faint cocoa powder, the extra alcohol gives his a bit more body than most dunkels

Bottle. Brown color. Caramel and some flowery hops in the aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly flavor. Medium bodied. Hint of chocolate in the aftertaste. Tasty dunkel.
