Five pints of this and your guaranteed immunity from everything including the misses. The cherub has now become an annual pilgramage for me. I live 120 miles away,so i make sure i get my quota on every visit. The misses doesent bother coming anymore as she says its a waste of time as i never now she is there. Now that cant be bad can it?A Highly recommended cider gavinio (5), England does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2005 My favourite cider, doesnt taste too sweet like most ciders and goes down really nicely. The cloudyness gives it a mysterious appearence and smells very much of apples. Drank it in a village in weardale and cant find it anywhere else tho. Doppelganger (1353), Dry County, Arkansas, USA

High frequency, bright apple skin aroma, mixed with a leathery, woolly character. There has got to be some bret in this! Tart, earthy, a little medicinal flavor, but in a really good way. Some definite sweetness, but it finishes clean. Soft carbonation. Based on the ratings here, it must be pretty dreadful stuff at least some of the time. But based on this tasting, it has the potential to be fantastic at least once in awhile. I’m certainly no cider expert--maybe there is significant variation between apple harvests? jerohen (1615), Bussum, Netherlands
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 2, 2004 I (only) had a pint of this in some pub in London. I must this one surprised me. The ciders i’ve had so far were quite crappy, but this one restored my faith in the style (and perhaps unjust, as it’s the only good cider i’ve had to date). Cloudy yellow/orange coloured, absolutely no head. The aroma is a bit faint, difficult to detect any outspoken aromas. The flavour however is very outspoken, fruity with a sour and even a bit tart edge to it, a bit like a gueuze but sweeter, like a faro. Extra points overall because it’s one of the best of its style (imho of course). mirjukka (705), LOHJA, Finland

Cloudy - thank goodness - like a proper cider should be. Sweet, soft, but almost watery. Very easy drinker, no alcohol detected at all.
