From cask in Edinburgh. Opaque yellow, virtually no head. Tart-acidic apple aroma with a late scent of honey. Taste is both sweet and acidic, very appely. Some yeast and wood notes. Medium body with high carbonation level. Sparkling mouthfeel, yet slick. Rounded, acidic and lightly sweet, fruity ending. A nice one with good drinkability.

Cask-conditioned at the Lord Nelson, Topsham, Devon 26/07/09. Cloudy pale brown in colour. Sweetish apple aroma, marred by a whiff of ammonia. Flavour was similar, with some cheesy, stomach bile in the background. Not very nice.

Cask @ University Arms, Sheffield.
Pours cloudy yellow with almost no head. Just a thin film. Aroma has only green apples with a peel-like tartness to it. Prickly carbonation, a bit weak mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly sweet, some oak, green apples and subdued tartness. A bit weak aftertaste. The overall, though, is quite nice and refreshing.

Draft at The Spaniards on the Heath. Fresh, tart apple aroma. Hazy peach juice color with some white head. Near medium in body with medium, firm carbonation. Flavors of apple and appleskin - hardly any "cooked" aspect. Quite refreshing.
