Draft at The Spaniards on the Heath. Fresh, tart apple aroma. Hazy peach juice color with some white head. Near medium in body with medium, firm carbonation. Flavors of apple and appleskin - hardly any "cooked" aspect. Quite refreshing.

As Addlestones Draught Cider. An unclear cider with no head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of apples and wood. The acidity is medium.

Half pint on draft at Queens Arms in Kensington, London. I had this directly after trying Apple Bocq. This beer pours a body which contrasts to the previous beer mentioned. It is clear, yellow, and there is barely any head. The aroma is apple, and notes of wine - or whatever you want to label that as. The flavor however is slightly better than Apple Bocq because it is smoother, and not as overtly sweet. Good cider.

Handpump - White Horse Oxford. A hazy urine coloured cider. The aroma is apples and chemicals. The taste is sweet and apply. Quite refreshing actually.

I can only assume that this is the bottled form of the draught stuff that i sell in the pub, though they are the same % and taste the same and when iv asked admins about it, iv had no reply. Lightly sparkling, cloudier in a whiter kind of muddtness than the more yellow looking draught stuff. Aroma is tarts, sulphur, yeast. Taste is similar, quite drinkable if unexciting.

As its name would suggest, it’s a cloudy yellow colour with minimal carbonation and no head. Subdued, yet sweet apple aromas. The flavour is light and quite... well... appley with medium acidity. Smooth and dryish finish. Goes down well.

Hazy yellow with a very lively body (carbonation streaming up). Lovely semi-dry apple, mildly tart, with an attractive woody note. Finishes with a hint of champagne. Fizzy, sticky finish. It isn’t a great UK cider, but it far trumps most or all American cider. (on tap, Babbity Bowser, Glasgow)
