568ml bottle from Sainsbury. I like this straight off cos of the size 568ml. Cloudy gold/orange, no head. Apple pie aroma. Apple juice in mouth and not too sour. Dryish finish. Bit one dimensional, but drinkable.

A Mes rate: Cask up the Junction. Cloudy yellow looks. Nose is eggy and sweet. Artificial sugary flavour. Almost no apple to detect. Palate is poor. In fact it’s just poor all round.

Cask @ University Arms, Sheffield.
Pours cloudy yellow with almost no head. Just a thin film. Aroma has only green apples with a peel-like tartness to it. Prickly carbonation, a bit weak mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly sweet, some oak, green apples and subdued tartness. A bit weak aftertaste. The overall, though, is quite nice and refreshing.

I can only assume that this is the bottled form of the draught stuff that i sell in the pub, though they are the same % and taste the same and when iv asked admins about it, iv had no reply. Lightly sparkling, cloudier in a whiter kind of muddtness than the more yellow looking draught stuff. Aroma is tarts, sulphur, yeast. Taste is similar, quite drinkable if unexciting.
