Bottled, from Oud Arsenaal, Antwerpen. Deep ruby red, thin pale beige head and gentle condition. Sweet dubbel like chocolate maltiness in the nose with a background smokiness. Soft and sweet in the mouth with a touch of roast barley and more lurking smokiness. Toasted bread with slightly burnt crusts in the finish and a background smokiness suggesting you haven’t turned off the grill.

Aug 24, 2008 A red brownish colour. Pale small head. Mild syrup in the nose. Some hints of roasted malts and candy sugar in the taste.

Apr 14, 2008 Bottle @ Plan B, Copenhagen. BB 08/08. Pours dark brown with almost no head. Aroma is dusty malty, yeasty & very vinous. Plum & port. Smooth & soft - nearly no carbonation. Round, mild & sippable. Well aged!

Feb 17, 2008 Bottle Bikesandbeer’s brother Marty brought back from Belgium. Enjoyed with them on 1/4/08 when I was severly drunk. Pours brown with an off white thin head. Nose had hints of grape juice. Taste is sweet light and nice and quite tasty.
