Adelskronen Pils

50 cl. plastic bottle @ Germany. Pours a clear pale piss with a off white head. Grain and corn - lots of it. Watery palate. Short dry end. Very anonymous.

Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, sour malt, resin notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (060908)

Golden with an OK head. The aroma is thin with hints of acetone, flower and vegetables. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of dry, light citrus, malt and it’s thin and very boring.

Plastic bottle. Clear golden colour with a little head. Aroma of sweet malt. Flavour of malt and little hops. Very dull endeed.

Wow. Even the Germans are putting their beer in plastic bottles now? Not much of a real aroma. Nice head at the pour, but (as expected) fizzed away pretty quickly. Taste was a little sweet, wasn’t impressed so just started focusing on finishing it so I could move on with my life. Not fantastic, but as with most pilsners, it serves its purpose. Can’t knock that.

Plastic bottle. Clear pale golden, small white head. Bit sweet grainy aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Rather weak grainy and grassy flavour with some malt a touch of some metal.

Plastic bottle, 4.9% as Adelskronen Premium Pils. Clear golden colour, very small white head. Very malty flavour, papery. Unpleasant bitterness. Not as bad as expected.

Pours a very pale yellow with a small frothy white head that fizzes away almost immediately. Metallic aroma with light sweet hay-like maltiness. Fizzy and thin mouthfeel. Dry and sticky sweet flavour with bready malts sominating, but never able to shed the metallic edge. Poor!
