TAP NY 2008. Dark in color with a little head. Aroma is very sweet initailly leading me to talk to the brewery. They caramelize the malt without liquid before the boiling. Brings out nice sweetness in aroma and taste. Some mellow smoke and the aldohol is hidden well. Great 1st beer of the day.

TAP NY 08. Deep reddish brown in color with a medium off white head. Aroma is caramel, a touchof smoke, and mild roast. Taste is caramel, some light fruity esters, with a touch of smoke and some light roast. A bit of alcohol in the finish. not bad.

on tap-pours a creamy light tan head that laces and red/copper color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-cherry? Taste is sweet medium malt-cherry?, alcohol, Jack Daniels-oaky. Nice but not my style.

Growler. Poured a hazed dark brown color with an off-white head. The aroma has some roasty malty caramel sweetness with notes of coffee and smoke. The coffee notes came out in the flavor even more. Especially as this warmed. Medium bodied. Not too bad.

On Tap at Brewery. Dark amber/brown color with a thin head of cream. Aroma is a touch smoky, which is a good sign for me. I like a bit of smoke in my scotch ales. Flavor is a quick burst of sweetness that is quickly tempered by a good dose of smoked peat. Good quality scotch.

Supposed to be the best the pub has to offer. We probably were badlucky because this one was so bad that it became a running gag between the four of us. Indescribable taste. Infected. Draft at brewpub. Lake George is famous for its Water Amusement Park but I didn’t think they would use the soiled water from the children’s pool to brew beer.

On tap at brew pub- Their best beer on tap the day I was there. Pours a dark reddish-purple with a small tan head. Pretty sweet with tastes of alcohol present. Finishes slightly sour. Better than I expected.
