Draught at the brewpub. Weak buttery/creamy aroma. Clear golden colour. Stable rocky white head. The flavour is mild, quite malty, low to medium bitterness. Has a little creamy note, but the maltiness is very good.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, brief head. Grassy spicy nose. Dry and crisp with rounded moutfheel and fairly light body. Quite bitter finish. Less flavourful and less inviting than the zwickel, but still a really good pilsener.

Draft. A yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops, while the flavor is sweet malty - and not much else, before a bitter finish sets in.

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a dense, white head. Lightly floral, hoppy nose. Medium body, sweetish malty with a discreet hoppiness. Quite harmonious. 081106

(bottle, from a gas-station in Eltmann, Franconia) Clear, yellow colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Grassy hop aroma that is detectable even from the distance with a malty background. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium body, but quite empty mouthfeel, low to medium carbonated. Soft malty base, shy hoppy taste; dry, minimal bitter and slim finish. Drinkable, but pretty disappointing for a Franconian Pils.
