Quack-Duck (1756), Bodensee, Germany Jul 2, 2008 bottle, bought at the brewery. Hazy golden yellow, aromatic hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, cleand and crisp. Intensively hoppy, very aromatic awith a pleasant and intensive bitterness. Good stuff!
MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Aug 31, 2008 (bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet and fruity malty aroma with floral hoppy notes. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Soft malty base with bitter and floral hops. Dry and bitter finish with an aromatic and lasting hops-character. Top notch Zwickel-Pils (04.08.08). pivnizub (3826), Porúří, Germany Aug 16, 2008 Bottle (by kind permission of Stefan !): Golden, a bit unclear, lacy, beaten egg-white-like foam; distinctive aromatic-herbal hoppy nose with a nice sweet-malty background; solid sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering, long and longer bitter-sweet finish. Delicious, superb aromatic brew........
