Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Deep amber colour body, almost brown. Clinging grey head. Pressing elderflower and musk aroma. Perfume like in its presence in and around the glass. Wonderful lips-smacking flavour. Really juicy but not silky (which is only an observation not a criticism. Served in sublime condition.

A darkish, sweetish brew. Full bodied, but a little too sweet for my taste. Handpump, Harbour Inn, Southwold, October 2003.

(Cask, Stockholm Beer Festival, 8 Oct) Dark amber colour with small head. Fruity nose with apricots, blood oranges and notes of earthy hops. Fruity taste with lots of bitterness from the earthy hops, notes of orange and cherries. An allright bitter with a nice hoppy bitterness.

A mid to dark, copper brown coloured beer with a thickish white head. The nose is light and fruity, with a sweetish malt aroma. The taste is smooth, sweet, fruity and malty, slightly cloying, with a tiny hint of dry hop. a tad bland in the finish. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heachan, Norfolk).

Cask at The Clarence in London. Slightly hazed gold body. Miminal head. Nose is mild bitter hops, light grains, and a hint of lemon peel. Taste is grains, faint citrus, bitter hops, mild note of stewed veggies. Mouthfeel is leaning toward full. Finish is citrusy with grains and more hop bitterness.

Half on cask. Mahogany colour with a low off-white head. Poor in aroma, some sweet malts can be detected. Traces of caramel and spicies in flavour. Dry finish accentuated by moderate bitterness.. Medium to full palate. (Greyhound, Ipswich 22.09.2006).

Cask@Stockholm Beer Festival 2006. Ruby color, no head. Leather and hops in the nose. Malty, leathery notes. Good hoppy aftertaste.
