Aug 8, 2004 Mid-brown/amber. Some bitterness, but fruit and malt predominate. Well balanced finish with some sweetness. Good for a couple of pints, but a little heavy for a session. Cask, Kings Head, Orford, Suffolk, May 2003.

Aug 3, 2004 I’m generally not a huge ESB fan but this is very smooth and drinkable. Even though it is a bitter, it’s not really that bitter. Has enough malt to make me happy.
