Taste is bitter, quite fruity and loads of malt. Bitter after taste. Fairly average pint nothing special. alexcandy (11), chatillon-sur-seine, France

Lots of flavor and depth to this. So much better than the bottle broadside. wheresthepath (555), Buckinghamshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2008 [at the Ferry Inn, Southwold, Suffolk] Initially rich, malty, smooth - went down very easily. Aftertaste a little weak and watery, bitter but well balanced. Very pleasant.
The draught version is weaker-tasting than the bottled version, and different flavours are apparent (notably malt rather than fruit). Both are good drinks, and I couldn’t actually recommend one over the other (I’d choose the draught year-roundwhen I was having a laugh with my mates, and the bottle in front of a fire on a cold winter’s day!), but I don’t know how Adnams can call them the same beer! renffisch (521), london, Greater London, England
