Syrupy leafy sweet aroma with a bit of earth and soy sauce. Clear, amber orange body with quick white bubbles. Sweet ham meat and leafy flavours. Medium body is watery and has a hint of bitterness. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Cask at Sawyers Arms in London, near Paddington Station. Cascading dark amber pour with an off white creamy and retentive head. Beautiful appearance. Medium bodied, but with some slight wateriness to the texture. Initial flavor has a blend of toffee and caramel, with just a hint of nuts. This is countered by a soft spicy and herbal hop middle. Smooth finish. Probably my second favorite of this visit to London. StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
