A fine, heartwarming English Beer, rich in flavours of malt and hops.

A deep red beer with a nice orange-brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of black currant, cowberries, wood, and grapes. The flavor is sweet and very berry-like again black currant and cowberries, but also caramel and wood.

Bottled. Deep ruby, clear, rich but quickly vanishing head. Aroma of malt and blueberries(!). Fruity and bold. Raisin, dates and licorice are prominent. Salty and rich, but with clean, simple malt profile. Warming peppery finish with lingering grassy hop bitterness. Packed with flavour, but points are deducted for it's plain malt profile.

Deep amber-brown; deeply chewy, sweet, with a touch of dryness in the finish. I found toffee, sweet cherries, roses, brown sugar and an insistent earthiness.

Bottle. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized off white head. Aroma of caramel and overriped apples with notes of alcohol. Flavour of caramel and fruits.
