A fine, heartwarming English Beer, rich in flavours of malt and hops.

Outstanding. This is a wonderful example of the style. Very complex but balanced flavor invites you to keep sipping. This would make an excellent session ale.

Smells and looks fantastic. Flows nicely. A caramel-aroma head. A very good beer. Medium heaviness but a nice flavor. A little hoppy graininess near the end. Excellent.

The bottled Broadside really shines through, bit more of a malty-fruity kick to it than with the cask. Has a thinnish head with little lacing but doesn't detract from being a real mouthful of decent English ale.

Brown, malty rich, heartwarming, bangers and mash style bitter.....makes me want to wear a paded elbow sportscoat.
