Clear, slightly amber golden color, small white head. Aroma of burning tyres and cauliflower. Fizzy mouthfeel. Crisp citrusy and grassy hops, light palate. Strange hopping, perhaps Boadicea is a bit strange :) Plastic and lightly bitter & harsh aftertaste. I don’t want to save the World with this beer ... cgarvieuk (4215), Edinburgh, Scotland

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2009 500ml bottle. Dry and thin with straw and dried cow poo aroma with hints of Ruddles and GK IPA (Boadicea is a Challenger type hop - Challenger is used in Ruddles and IPA). Not a lot going on here in the bottle, but may work better in the cask. More like a lager than an ale. Gr0ve (1422), Oslo, Norway
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 6, 2009 500 ml bottle. Golden and clear. Medium-sized white fine-laced head. Piney hop aroma and a crisp grainy maltiness. Light-bodied, but has a nice powdery wheaty texture that helps a little. Crisp hops. Effervescent. Finishes with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Decent session beer, but does not have much complexity. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 12, 2009 Bottle. Pale golden with a small head. Rather neutral malts aroma, but with a little bit more hoppiness in the mouth. Extremely boring. hughie (3084), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 6, 2009 On tap at All Bar One, Milton Keynes. A rather drab and dreary old gold with a white head. The same odd natural gas aroma and taste as the cask version, however the fact that it was served cold and fizzy tended to disguise its shortcomings as a beer. Some maltiness in the taste and a little bitterness. Ethereal (1511), London, Greater London, England
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Bottle. Citrus hop aroma. Clear gold, lively body. Bland flavour - really disappointing as Adnam’s can do a lot better than this. Beth101 (318), West Yorkshire, England
