Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Introduced in 2004 as a summer seasonal in East Anglia and London; became from Feb, 2006 a regular beer.
A golden bitter suffused with the aromas of a grapefruit grove. The massive citrus attack will burst on your palate allowing all the flavours of the imported New World hops to deliver their fruity bitterness. Adnams is “Exploring” new ground by sourcing interesting new hops from the USA that add different characters to the beer. By using the hops, not only in the copper but also in the cask, the drinker enjoys a mix of the traditional brewing quality that has become synonymous with the Adnams name, but also the contemporary flavours of the New World.
Ingredients: Pale malt. Columbus and Chinook hops; Columbus in the copper and Chinook in the cask

Very nice, probably the best Cask beer in the time I have beern in The U.K., sweet, but sour and strange atthe same time. Like if it had wheat, I bet it does.

Cask handpull at Bridge House, Southwark. Gold colour, thin white head. Farty green apple yeasty aroma, thin in mouth with some apple fruit and lemon citrus and some hop on end. Lacks depth and that aroma....

Copper color. Light aroma, disappears quickly. Medium structure, strong herbal hop taste, hop resins. The bitterness develops more at the end, hoppy, peculiar. Refreshing and good.

Cask Conditioned at Mahar’s in Albany, NY. Didn’t like this one so much, had a soapy taste that wasn’t pleasant.

Cask conditioned from Mill Inn Aldeburgh (15/08/05). Drunk during the Aldeburgh carnival whilst wandering around the town- a pleasant setting which the beer didnt detract from (or add to) in any way. Over yeasty/fruity. Grassy hops and only a hint of citrus. Drinkable refreshing blond.

Cask. Fairly sweet aroma. Not as hoppy as I expected from the description of the US hops used. Grassy hop flavour, slightly sweet malts. A little thin, but not a bad session beer.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty, while the flavor is very hoppy and grassy - which makes it a very refreshing beer.

Cask. Bright golden colour, big-bubbled head. Nice hoppy aroma. Flavour is also very hop aromatic. Nice bitterness. Flowery aftertaste. Very nice ale.
