Bronze with a medium head and a pleasant amount of bitterness. First impressions were very positive but the flavours seemed to fade. Not bad though. Brandman (95), Helsinki, Finland

Deep red, tiny head. Sweet malty aroma, but with loads of peppery hops. Pleasant carbonation, smooth palate. A bit thin on flavour, some gentle roasted malts, heading towards burnt, and a bit of UK hopping hang around for a bit of finish, but it’s otherwise a bit blah. Adequate. And from Adnams nowadays, that’s a pleasant surprise. yngwie (5000), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2009 Bottle. A clear, copper colored beer with a small beige head on top. Fruity on the nose with a touch of chocolate and roasted malts. A whiff of hops too. Sweet and malty flavor with some roasted malt and chocolate. A weak but pleasant bitterness lasts a good while. Medium body. Sweet finish with enough bitterness to give it some balance. Overall it’s a too sweet beer, but it’s a quite decent and very drinkable one. (090328)
