Strong aroma of warm polythene, red apple skin, earth, faint coffee, cherry and vegetal nuttiness. Flavour cherry stone, soil, watery mocha, apples in plastic. Got a feeling it could be a half-decent mild-like brew unpasteurised, but I might be wrong. imdownthepub (5173), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Bottled 500ml, pasteurised from Tesco, Banbury. Copper to chestnut with white head. Milds have been difficult to get right in a bottle, but this is a relatively good attempt. There is a sweetish, rich, maltiness, with fruity overtones, there are also some deeper roasted notes in the malt, all pretty clean. A good beer. Miksu (2234), Jyväskylä, Finland

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Bottled (From Citymarket, Pori). Deep copper colour with mediumsized beige head and good lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some dark berries, wood and also some slight caramel maltyness lurking. Flavour is fruity, slightly roasted and also has some dark berries as well as chocolate in it. The chocolate grows in the finish and aftertaste. A bit thin, but otherwise very drinkable. As it warms up the flavour gets some nuttyness as well. joe19612 (701), camberley, Surrey, England

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 9, 2009 50 cl bottle from Aldi. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 3, 2009 (Bottled) Clear, dark ruby with a smallish, firm and slightly tanned head. Mild aroma of toffeeish malt and berries. Flavor of toffeeish malt, dried fruit, hints of ashiness, black currants, low bitterness. Medium body with quite low carbonation. Sure, it packs a lot of flavor for a 4% brew - but still it feels somewhat bland, slightly ashy and uninteresting overall.
