Pleasant grapefruity citrus sweetness, gentle grain and some chalkiness in the nose, quite full bodied in the mouth with citric hops and sweet grain and an underlying alcoholic note, lingering grapefruit citrus in the finish with some residual sweetness and a dry bitterness coating the mouth.

Info: 500ml bottle, 5/2-2008 Rune (1498), Tromsų, Norway Jun 23, 2008 500ml bottle picked up at a shop in Maldon (Essex, UK) and enjoyed at a summer party in Tromsų. Amber body colour with a creamy, white head. The coolness of fruit and flowers dominate the aroma while the flavour has got hints of hop resin, blood oranges and grapefruits on a malty background. Mild, but lingering hop bitterness to the ending. Well bodied, cool mouthfeel and filled with summer feelings (14.06.2008). cgarvieuk (2151), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 21, 2008 Bottle at home ... amber ... sweet slightly cidery slitly musky hop nose ... candy sweetness... really juicy tartness ... little sry in linger ... lots of citrus flavours ... and really quite tasty... The one thing i didnt like was it made a big fuss about how enviromental there brewery was and that they use 34% less glass in the bottle... and then they put it in an unneeded cardboard box just so they can charge more. Doppelganger (1080), Oxford, Oxfordshire, England Jun 14, 2008 Updated: Jun 16, 2008Bottle, from Waitrose in Witney. Pale copper, small white head that settles quickly but leaves a bit of lace. Unusual hop profile. Melon musk sweetness, mixed with a very pungent patch of nettles, and around the edges some candy sweetness and blackberries. Very light palate, dry-leaning, fine carbonation. Fine textured melon hop flavor with a subtle pith finish. My first sips of this--not a huge fan. But it kind of won me over, and I actually ended up digging this quite a bit.
