| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2009 Bottled, from Booths, Windermere.Described as ’a light golden beer’ on the label, yet turns out to be an amber-orange coloured brew. Tastes more like a mid 4-5% strength, bringing their Broadside to mind. Typical Adnams peppery aroma and taste, with an off-white head. Sharp-flavoured, bordering on acidic, with hints of apple and banana, in the aftertaste. A drinkable session ale. Gr0ve (1426), Oslo, Norway
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 28, 2009 500 ml bottle. Light brown colour. Crystal clear. Medium-sized coarse white head. Crisp earthy hop aroma. Fizzy. The carbonation level is fairly high. Clean refreshing hop bitterness. Light maltiness with hints of nuts. Maris Otter likely. Light bodied. Hints of citrus from the hop after swallowing. A light and refreshing beer with a nice nutty and biscuity maltiness. There is a little too much carbonation there for my taste. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 12, 2009 Tawny and fizzy with a capuchino style head. Very malty aromas, quite sweet yet thick and bready. Syrupy sweet in the mouth with malts and mellow honey flavours. It seems over carbonated though which results in a beer that is drinkable but not mu cup of tea. Bov (5514), Bienne, Switzerland
