Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - June to August.
The perfect summer bitter of proven popularity. Light, bright and crisp in flavour. A refreshing thirst-quenching pint. Delicious served cool on a warm summer’s day. Distinctively different.

Cask. Clearish golden. Fair white head. Served cold despite being on cask! Full-on flowery hops get treated roughly by major yeastiness that comes across extremely bready. Sweet kiss of malts is all you get in the finish. Promisingly aromatic, but really lacking some dryness to allow any level of drinkability this one.

(Cask at Dartmouth Arms, Dartmouth Park, London, 6 Aug 2007) Golden amber colour with brief head. Fruity nose with notes of mandarin, lemon, citrussy hops and something slightly sourish. Fruity taste with mandarin, apricots, hints of sulphur, grassy and citrussy hops in the finish. Slightly too sweet for me. Drinkable, but no favourite.

Cask, gravity at The Rock of Gibraltar Beer Festival, Enslow, Oxon, 01-09-07 Golden with some haze, served a bit too warm in my opinion, beers were served inside the pub on racks with no effort to keep cool. malt on the aroma and some honey. Tasted fine if bit warm and sweeter than anticipated, some fruit. A friend was convinced that this had aroma of baked beans?? Only ok I’m afraid.

Cask, Angel Hotel, Market Harborough. Hazy gold with a dense head. Aromas are biscuit malts with clean hops and citrus. Flavours are crisp, light buttery malts with some citrus and floral notes. Went down well while watching rugby.

this was served cloudy as the keg had been knocked, but it was still pretty tasty.

Pint pulled at The Nags Head in Knightsbridge (London), gold with a white frothy head. A yeasty (and maybe wheaty) aroma, flowery hops and earthy malt. Again quite yeasty in the mouth, with sharp hops - maybe a little too sour.

Bon accord. Good hop character, a nice light biscuit base. Very drinkable and also in good condition.
