Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - June to August.
The perfect summer bitter of proven popularity. Light, bright and crisp in flavour. A refreshing thirst-quenching pint. Delicious served cool on a warm summer’s day. Distinctively different.

Pint at the Bridge House, SE1. Golden body, small head, clear. Very light, lots of hops, some lemony citrus - very dry. Malt sweetness in the finish. Has a creamy mouth feel. Very easy to drink, pleasant pint. It was hot day when I had a couple of pints of Regatta (Marathon Sunday 2007 - nothing better than having a pint watching poor folks running 26.4 miles!), and it was a hugely enjoyable pint.

Half pint on cask. Amber coloured with no head. Light fruity in aroma and taste. Short bitter end. Rather shallow impression (Lord Nelson, Ipswich 22.09.2006).

NOt bad, very golden but not that pale, creamy foam and not bitter at all, but was more like that than malty.

A mid, golden amber beer with a weak white head. The nose is citrusy, hoppy and slightly floral, then a malty aroma. The taste is dry and bitter. Follows the aroma with zesty, floral hop, which is accompanied by a thick, slightly cloying maltiness. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk).

Cask : The Seven stars, Holborn. Nice light/easy drinking golden summer beer with enough body to make it satisfying.

1. Cask Stillage at the Old Broken Cross, Rudheath 11/07/2002 Golden coloured ale which is creamy on the palate. Some pale malt character and dryness in the finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Exeter Arms, Derby 15/08/2007 Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured with a little sour fruit flavour. Some bitterness in a crisp and creamy dry malt finish.
