Apr 28, 2007 Bottle 0,5 l. Dark cloudy brown. Off-white head. Sweet malt, flowers, moderate pluss bitterness. Nice half dry finish. Would be a very good beer if it was a 6%.

Apr 25, 2007 Pours bright amber into an English pint. Off-white congolmerate head leaves slight lacing as it slowly recedes to remain on the surface. Malt aromas. Upfront caramel with a dry, lasting English hop finish. I could easily drink a bunch of these -- actually it’s gone.

Mar 16, 2007 WFM sample. Nose is sweet and alcoholic, candy like with a nice malt profile. Taste is dominated by a unique hop flavor, punctuated by the sweetness. Interesting, not bad.

Mar 15, 2007 Pour is a very dark red with almost no head. Aroma is is a bit fruity with some dark malts and a nice winey smell to it. Flavor is sweet with some malts and a earthy dustyness. A decent example and easy to drink.

Mar 14, 2007 Pours a beautiful clear copper, with a overflowing khaki head that fades to a rough surface. Mostly malt aroma, with caramel and molasses present. Medium body, with a fairly sweet lingering malt flavor. Almost a peat/smoked flavor as well. Not as much bitterness as I would prefer.
