Feb 12, 2007 A sweet nutty aroma. Amber with a white head that diminished quite quickly. Nice blend of hops and malts that with a fairly smooth finish.

Feb 10, 2007 Can. Clear reddish copper with a medium tan head head. Friuty, slightly sweetish malt aroma with burnt sugar and an earthy hop aroma. A refreshing bitterness in the finish. A fine bitter.

Jan 28, 2007 Bottle. Clear, red-brown colour with a big mostly diminishing head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and some hops. Flavour is dry, hoppy, malty, slightly sweet, bit fruity. Mild bitter finish.

Jan 11, 2007 (BBE Nov 06) Dark coppery colored, cloudy appearance with little yellow head. Fruits, lemon, some soft bitterness and some licorice in aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is stronger with obvious licorice and good caramelly fruitiness. Aftertaste could be longer with soft and slightly round bitterness. Some lemon also in aftertaste.

Jan 9, 2007 Bottle pours dark amber with a short creamy offwhite head that laces a little. Aromas of grassy hops over caramel and toasted malts. Flavor is toasted malts, caramel, some toffee, and slight grass on the finish. Medium body with slight carbonation and a touch of bitterness on the finish.

Jan 5, 2007 Consumed today..but with a 4/05 best by date. Not bad considering that. Found in the singles area in the cooler, that may have something to do with it. Pour is pale hazy copper with gentle hop nose. Light smooth body with subtle crispness expected from English bitter. A lasting head nearly to bottom of glass. A decent pint.
