jacked some copper pipes and shoved them into a pint glass. Taste is caramel covered toffee roasted with some earthy-tones. Nice complexity and the bitterness wasn’t bad. A carbonated start for the night. Sipper.

Pours deep copper with aroma of caramel, toffee, some figs. Tastes caramel malty followed by some almonds, cabernet, and more figs. Nice complexity in this one. I didn’t notice much in the hop department.

Bottle: Nice copper color with a small foamy head on top. Lively carbonated. First caramel and malt in the nose with some fruity nuances. Medium cherry and and malt taste at first followed by light to medium bitterness. Not as hoppy as expected, decent brew though.

Amber color, low frothy head. Creamy toasted malt with some raisiny fruit notes. Decent hop bitter, a little stale though. Some butterscotch in the middle. Medium body. No so exciting, but good.

Dark amber color with big frothy head. Aroma is pleasant of tart apple (or something similar). Taste is intriguing... we’ll see if I can describe it. Malt up front that quickly gives way to a little bit of tangy fruit (that is not extremely strong) which then gives way to a nice bitter aftertaste that develops more as it goes.

Off white head on an amber body. Very easy to drink. A good session beer, I could go on drinking it in any Pub (I hope they have it on draught). It has fruitiness, malty taste in an almost perfect combination. So far my favourite English ale, but I still have to confirm this.

excellently balanced beer. neutral amber color, malty and tangy aroma, with smooth (if a bit thin) maltiness and a dry ’english’ finish. so THIS is why bitters are called session beers....
