| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2005 500ml brown bottle. Poured orange, rocky off white head sits atop. Nice aroma, malts, honey, dominated by floral hop. Light fruitness. Decent malts, toasted grain, some light caramel notes. Noticed a bit of orange character as it warmed up. Medium body. Finishes dry. Ideal for sessioning. Also has a cool bottle and graphics, although that had nothing to do with my rating! presario (2987), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 24, 2004 Almost clear reddish dark straw with a thin head that ends up in a ring. Fresh and spicy aroma of malt and caramel with barely perceptible hops and orange. Pleasant malty flavour with some spiciness and ascertive, yet well balanced with the caramely malt, bitter finish. Medium body with a minor coating of the mouth feel. AlchemistZ (493), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Lightly hazy amber color with a tight, off-white head. Definite Goldings hop aroma with some toffee malt (no ale yeast fruit though). Flavor of toffee malt, spicy, earthy hops that have a Goldings signature, and a great balancing bitterness (once again, no ale yeast fruit). Unusual of bitters, but I recommend lying this one down for awhile. When I tried this 6 months ago or so when it first came in, it had a harsh, biscuity, grainy malt character that has mellowed over time. Now, I thought it was exceptional. kujo9 (1077), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA

Caramel malt with toasty and brown sugar sweetness. Some herbal hop in the finish & definitely in the aftertaste. Medium body, low carb., smooth at first but dry overall. Nice tasty session beer.
