| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 14, 2004 Extremely drinkable, a very nice beer also when served cold. This is one of my favourite beers ever. The aroma is a bit closed, but the beer looks fine and has the correct (for me) amount of bitterness. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2004 The beer was obtained in a 500 ml. bottle with a best before date of 28 December 2004. The beer poured out with a reddish amber clear body, and a 1 ½ inch thick foamy beige head that was pretty persistent and left pretty nice lace. The aroma was very mild and unremarkable with mostly fruity smelling malt and little to no hops. The taste was also pretty sweet, with cherries and plums. There was also quite a bit of roasted nutty background to the taste. The mouthfeel was a bit creamy at the start of the sip, with a sticky feel mid palette, but the finish was quite watery and weak. A passable session beer, but not an outstanding one.
