cask @ the Barmy Arms Twickenham. Not all that enjoyable. Biscuty malt and un floral Hops. I moved on to the London Pride from the tap next to it and that was 100.000 times cooler drinking xperience.

I grew up with this beer, so may b a little biased ;] Wholly English in both looks and aromas, most notably of fine set honey. It holds lovely barnyard flavours all the way through with dusty straw and the smell of chickens (in a good way). Smooth and easy-drinking session.

Cask. Fluffy white head. Nice amber body. Hoppy aroma, not of the best. Bitter watery flavour. Low carbonation. (The Marquis of Granby, London, 02.12.08))

(11/25/08) Cask at Heathrow airport in London. Almost clear bronze-amber color with a small white head. Almost rotten vegetable aroma with some yeast and light hoppy notes. Flavor begins sweetish and malty with some bread, toasted notes and a hint of fruit and finishes pleasant and bitter with earthy hops and faint citric notes. Slick mouthfeel, Smells quite bad but tastes nice.

Clear amber pour with a thin, white head. You could tell the bitterness from the aroma. One of the better beers I had over in London (12/13-12/14). Light, hoppy aroma with a hint of malt. Bitter taste, but nothing overpowering. Crisp finish.

Handpulled cask in many places but always best in its home town of Southwold. This beer just doesnt seem to travel well or maybe the locally delivered stuff is treated differently at the brewery?

Pours a dark amber orange with thick foam white head. Nice delicate hop aroma balanced by a slightly malty bacbone. Very smooth and refreshing ale with floral and citrus hops making it quite crisp. Nicely balanced with a slight dry finish.
