| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Sampled from the bottle in a greenhouse during a thunderstorm in the dark. The drink happened to fit the mood perfectly (though I wasn’t able to appreciate the appearance of the brew as much as I would have liked). Malts are caramel, with a slight metallic vibe, fruity and sweet but dark. A solid (though not fabulous) beer. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland

Some lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some alcohol, mild herbal notes as well as some yeast. Flavour is caramel malts, some yeast, fudge, mild herbal notes as well as some slight alcoholic burning notes. As it warms up it gets some rubbery/metalliclike notes. I prefered this one a bit colder. jbrus (4894), Delft, Netherlands

Pours a nice red brown with a small, creamy, beige film head. Fair lacing. Malty aroma, some rye bread, yeast and caramel. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit metallic at first. Turns to caramel, light sweetness with good yeast. Light vinious. Okay, but not much more. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England

Not terrible, I love this style but metallic and thoroughly average. Can’t stress the metal presence enough. More metallic than drinking Tiger Beer off a spoon. Very let down.
