Commercial Description:
Cask & Bottle conditioned, Occasional;
Black William Stout (5% ABV.) is a rich black colour with a creamy head. Powered by Target hops, it is in the middle of the bitterness scale and contains a very high proportion of chocolate malt that contributes to the dark chocolate aroma and roasted flavours. Black William is available bottled. Casks available by request.

Bottled A black stout with a lovely frothy coffee coloured head. The aroma is roasty with coffee notes and some burnt milk, and hints of fruity hops. The taste is roasty and bitter. Very dry and quite burnt. A good English stout.

A Mes rate. Bottle from some random shop in Brighton and drunk at Rahals.
Totally black with a good beige head. Roasty and toasty with some good coffee and chocolate and lots of chunky dark fruit. Very roasty, almost smoky finish. Not too thick, not to thin and just right amount of carbonation.
