Apr 5, 2008 Hard for me to rate these types of beer since I really cannot drink more than a sip. Hints of smoked fish, ham and bacon on the nose and in the flavor. Too much to drink. Maybe it would be grea to cook wtih?

Apr 2, 2008 Bottle. Smoky aroma; perhaps a bit of cheese. Dark brown color with an off-white head that ringed. Not very thick in body with fine, creamy carbonation. Flavor is essentially smoke, and it seems a touch woody. Finish is smoky, with some light bitterness. Interesting drink.

dark copper brown, clear.
medium off-white head leaves lace.
aroma: LOVELY tar, grilled (smoked) sausage. eukalyptus.
taste: eukalyptus, nice hops, sugar and salt with smoke.
After taste: watery metallic, a bit bitter.
leaves you a little disappointed.

Mar 25, 2008 bottle: pours a rootbeer brown with a creamy just off white head. aroma is totally smoke, almost grill like smoke. behind all the smoke is a soft hint at sweeter malts. also believe i am getting a wood aroma. the flavour is quite light compare to the heavy smoke aroma. it has a definte smoke flavour but seems to blend well with the other sweeter malts in the beer. the palate plays well on the tounge and the beer is preety smooth to go down. the finish dries out alittle. very good.

Mar 25, 2008 (Dégusté avec french tickler) Rouge vin foncé. Un collet presque absent. Odeur de saumon fumé, peperette. Saveur très décevante avec un gout de peperette qui revient, coté salé et n peu poivré. Une biere qui semblait quand meme asser bien et qui finalement nous decois beaucoup.

Mar 24, 2008 Bottled. Pours a deep amber with thick tan head. Aroma is of smoked meat (intense) - like a bacon & cheese grill, with flavours to match. Reminiscent of a fine scotch whiskey I was really intrigued by this beer. Keen to try this beer again.

Mar 22, 2008 This one is a very weird beer. Like the name says, it is smoked. Intense smoked flavor in every sip. Altough its not so heavy in the texture, for me, one is enough. Good recomendation for open new horizonts in palate and flavor.
