Bottle. Deep brown in color. Aromas of wood and campfire smoke. Good body weight. Smoke really comes through on the finish, which is fairly long. Would go great with like a smoked salmon fillet.

pours mahogany with an off white head that fades to a film and leaves a nice lace trail. smells slightly like real lebanon bologna, malt and brown sugar. the flavor is similar along with some tartness like sour cream, ashiness and low sweetness. hard to really taste any nuances through the smokiness. the finish is acrid and the smoke lingers on until the next morning. medium bodied with a creamy texture from the carbonation. very food friendly...

1 pt 9 fl oz bottle. Pours a clear brownish color. Aroma of smoke and cured sausage. Flavor is like a dash of liquid smoke, and some malt, and bacon. It’s alright - but what I taste is like as if someone was smoking next to me.

Bottle. Pours quite dark - flavor of smoked sausage is deliciously prominent without overwhelming the drink. Surprisingly smooth. Overall an incredible beer.

Bottle. Pours a brownish colour with a good head. I get some malts on the nose - but mostly loads and loads of smoke (bacon, bbq crisps, smoked fish, single malt from Islay...you name it and than multiply it by 10...or 100 !) and tar. Flavour is similar to the nose. Smoke for days. Together witha nice bitterness.

Pours an almost porter-like darkness. Super smoky hickory smoked bacon aroma. Palate is a bit thin, but quite good overall.

Draught at Battersea Beer Festival 8 Feb 08. Dark brown colored. A good-looking white creamy head. Smoky aroma. Flavor of liquid bacon. Smoky aftertaste. Some modest bitter finish.
