Nov 26, 2009 Bottle. Poured dark red brown with thick foamy head. Strong aroma of smoked malt, smoke and caramel. Full malty flavour with some aged cheese notes. Smoky finish with a little malt edge.

Nov 24, 2009 50cl bottle @ Zly Cazy, Prague. Pours dark brown with a small creamy white head and lacings. Lots of meat, bacon and camp fire. Chewy caramel and very full bodied. Quite heavy in all aspects. Still growing on me!

Nov 23, 2009 Pours fairly clear dark brown with a light beige head. Aroma has a heavy smoked meat aspect with a subtle saltiness. The flavor is reminiscent of a smoked cured meat with a sweet component.

Nov 22, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Nose is rich in salt bacon meat. Lovely smokey aroma like jerky. Palate is thin and a bit watery. Flavor is light caramel with minimal hints of smoke.

Nov 18, 2009 Bottle into a pint glass. The aroma is all campfire smoke and smoked salty meats. The flavor is sweet and malty. The smoke isn’t as forward in the flavor - it reminds of salty smoked fish. The exhale is mild tobacco smoke from a nice smooth cigar.

Nov 17, 2009 Brown with a nice off white head. Aroma is smoked fish (the smoke part not the fish), and caramel malt. Taste is sweet with just enough bitterness to balance it out. Very smooth palate, low carbonation, dry finish. Strange beer, but very good.

Nov 15, 2009 bottle shared and courtesy of my sister Linds- a super light bodied, very drinkable smoke beer- enjoyed this thoroughly. The sweetness of the malt complements and backs up the substantial smokyness enough to make you want another sip.
