Hazy amber orangeish hue, with a rocky tan head, nice nose of smoked oysters, with a touch of wheat malt, yasty and fruity aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate, with a fruity note of bananas, hint of spiciness, yeasty accent, developing first her weizen character and than showing up in second the fairly smokiness flavor, leading towards a yeasty fruitiness and a lingering smoky finish.

Dec 4, 2008 Impressive as a style but not my cup of tea. Quite well balanced though. The bacon rind is not overpowering as it was with the one of last smokey I tried at the Wig and Pen. Mauve red and colour with a big head. Salt over slight bacon taste.

Nov 28, 2008 (Bottle at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, on 2008-11-14) Brown colour with hint of red. Cloudy. Dene largish white head. Smoke, tar, hint of fruitness in nose. Full bodied palate with medium carbonation. Smoke, salty liquorice, smoked ham, banana, bitterness and yeast in taste. Smoky and yeasty aftertaste.

Nov 28, 2008 Bottle of course. Poured a brown cola like color with a strange bubbly head. Flavor was interesting smokey malts and light hops. Palate was thin yet filling enjoyable. MMM smoked beer.
