Heavy apple aroma is fairly tart, but not overpowering. Flavor is sweet yet tart...and full of apple aroma. Medium level of dryness on the palate. A notch down from the Appely Brut, but still enjoyable.

Aroma was of alcohol, apple, and some funk. Slightly sweet, but drier than most ciders I’ve had. Very effervescent. I liked it better after letting it breathe a bit. Nice tart apple cider flavor with a bit of raw alcohol. JK (2961), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Less intense than the brut. There is apple in the aroma, but it is not as sweet or strong. The flavor is just a little bit sweeter than the brut, but this is still a dry cider. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 28, 2008 Picked up a 750 ml bottle at Mars Cheese Castle near Kenosha, Wisconsin, just off of I-94. Pours a sparkling light golden straw cider with a thick and white bubbly fizz head that slowly dissipates to a fine white ring. Aroma of semi-dry apple cider, a touch of yeast, some light floral and herb/spice character. Taste is semi-dry, plenty of carbonation with flavors of semi-dry apple cider, a mild yeast presence with a touch of herbs and some wood. Finish is semi-dry and not too sweet as first thought but still has a light crisp dry apple aftertaste that slowly disappears.
