Comments: Thanks Savad! Smooth and good-looking, fairly alcoholic and not too sweet porter that perhaps has a touch of plasticy phenols, but is otherwise clean and fun to drink.

Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Opaque with a small brown head. Roasted malts, obvious bitterness, some earthy notes, complexity. Great mouthfeel. I’ve heard people say that this is the best Russian beer, and so far i must say they’re right. Oh, and nice bottle by the way.

Full flavour, nice taste of toast and almost burned grain. This was labelled a porter, and it clearly is - maybe there are several beers with the same name? This was a fine brew!

6th Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Black beer from Russia. It’s got a nice aroma full of herbs. Nice porter, herbs in the flavour are enjoyable. Dark chocolate/mocca like. A bit too strong in the taste perhaps.

6th Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Aroma of roasted caramel and chocolate malts. Black coloured with a brown, thin head. Taste is bitter, sweet, roasted chocolate malts, mocca, some spice/earthiness. Medium body. Quite a decent brew.

Bottled, 6.8% ABV. Mocha aroma. Black color, brown head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter to bitter in the finish, strong coffee and roasted malts. Quite full and warming. Very nice Baltic Porter to taste but I couldn’t drink it all night long I’m afraid because of the overwhelming sweetness and thickness.
