The bottle was very strange because it had sides to it, as if to form some geometrical shape. The taste was of wheat and...corn? Too much on the corn though, but a pleasant blend of spices is present. Enjoyable, but a bit unbalanced and overly aggressive. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Typical lager color- yellow. Head goes away quickly. Sweet taste with some nice mild hopping. Full mouthfell. Good finish, but doesn't leave the mouth feeling like it drank beer. Not too skunky or oxidized, so this beer actually was a lot better than I was expecting. I'll drink this off tap the next time I'm in Russia.... Uglyradio (776), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 16, 2003 This Russian lager has a clear, copper-golden color with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma of malt and corn with a touch of hops. Light body and moderate carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet and lagerish up front. The finish is crisp with some mild hop notes and a lingering sweetness. Not bad really, kinda sweet though. Ernest (4511), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2004 Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly
yeasty (cobwebs), lightly malty (toasted grain/bread, cereal), lightly hoppy (herbs, lemon), with light notes of clove and
coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly
bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Very strange little monkey here...the first thing
that hit my brain when I took the first sniff was Belgian witbier...the tartness in the flavor continued that feeling.
It does have some adjuncty smell, but kind of an interesting beer overall. Maybe this is what happens when an otherwise boring beer recipe is given a nifty yeast strain. kumite56 (461), Cordova, Tennessee, USA

Medium gold body clear body with a white rapidly diminshing head. Some lacig and the surpising part... it actually had some palate to it with a decent mouthfeel. Yes the corn was noticable as was the slight sweetness but the hoppy bitterness and crispness also was evident. Have another one comrade. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

Nice golden body, carbonated, but bereft of head. The aroma is of fresh bread with a covering of herbal hops. The flavor is a sweet, grainy taste with perhaps just a touch of corn. It finished on a sweet note garnished with a dash of hop bitterness. Drinkable.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2003 Blonde colour. Aroma of bready malts, some cereal notes, slight grassiness. The medium body shows similar profile, slight mineral and a finish that turns more bitter and slightly saaz-y. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
