Not bad as far as Russian dunkles go. It’s a light brown with some bubbles and film for a head. The aroma is caramel corn candy and butterscotch. Thin to drink, it’s got a mild, sweet caramel flavor with a sprinkling of earthy hops in the finish. Passable.

This is a very cloudy dark brown color with a heavy brown head. Lots of nuts and a weird chocolate, very sweet and dark fruity, on the aroma. This was really damn weird, it tastes like a flat beam and coke. Not bad though, i like different.

is this a beam and diet? no? well coulda fooled me. had that flat alcohol stench and flavor. very little cola flavor present but even that was flat tasting. it wasnt awful... had a few hints of carmel and chocolate but all in all... i’d rather have the beam straight up.

Cloudy and brown with a yellowish-tan head. Creamy texture. Notes of caramel, wood, toffee, brown sugar ... and slightly fruity (prune, raisins). Overall, not what I’d call bad, but it became much too sweet and sticky. Maple syrup lingered in the mouth and wore me down. Hops couldn’t keep up at all.

Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy light brown. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, caramel), lightly yeasty (mold). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Another weird one from Tver...sour and yeasty, not what was expected, but kind of interesting considering the origin. Again, kind of reminds me of what a Belgian brewer might do in Russia.

Sweet malty aroma, with a fairly well balanced malty body. Almost a light alcohol doppelbock. Not at all what I would have expected.

Funky multifaceted bottle. Strong, sweet malt aroma. Unfortuneatly I must have gotten an old bottle. Although you could taste the sweet, dark malt flavors, there was also a strong taste of turpentine.

I actually found this to be quite enjoyable. Not my favorite, but very easy to drink. Has some nice dark roastedness, with some hints of caramel and toffee coffee flavors. Almost a creme brulee, with a little bit of maple syrup in the finish.
