Clear, dark brown/ruby red colored body. It has a thin, off-white head that lingers a while before dissipating. Aroma is malty sweet with some sugary and cardboard notes. Medium body with low carbonation. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. The flavor is good and malty with some hints of raisins and plums. Finish is long and sweet. Quite tasty.

I personally enjoyed this one. Smelled like molasses and hops to me. The odd shaped bottle and size (11.2 oz) with a thermal decal letting you know it was the right temp to drink were neat. I had a similar Russian beer in Kyrgyzstan and was looking to duplicate that. I was not dissappointed

Intriguing aroma. At different times vinegar, molasses and pumpkin pie spices. Very nice look, copper with a dirty brown head and good lacing. First couple of sips are confusing and off-putting. After that the tongue becomes acustomed to the malt and spice. Finish of lasting light pepper. Alcohol familiarity as the beer warms.

Strong hints of malases and nutmeg. Sweeter then expected. Nice looking bottle and great looking beer in glass with a nice brown color and full head. Very low on carbonation.

This is a very cloudy dark brown color with a heavy brown head. Lots of nuts and a weird chocolate, very sweet and dark fruity, on the aroma. This was really damn weird, it tastes like a flat beam and coke. Not bad though, i like different.

First, it's got an interesting conical, faceted bottle. While that's interesting to look at, it wants to slip out of your hands when wet. Dark malty aroma. Sweet, sugary, grain bitter with some chocolate and dark grain syrup flavors. I was a little disappointed in the carbonation -- a little flat, perhaps it's just this bottle. Long grain bitter finish. Drinkable, but there are better values to be had at the asking price ($9.30/ 6)

Orange brown; head stuck a bit better then the other; nose was raisiny. Nice chocolate character. Still a bit flat on the tongue. Actually quite nice.
