Jun 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellowish. Smells of classic abbey yeast. Taste is somewhat subdued but smooth. Aftertaste is subtle and straightforward. A nice example of Belgian Blonde.

I tried this beer on May 30, 2008 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a hazy golden orange colour with a bubbly white head which disappears within a couple of minutes. The aroma was grassy malt, some appley hints, and a little hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was very yeasty with some malty hints. A little spiciness as well.

May 29, 2008 Pours a clear bright orange color with a huge amount of froathy offwhite head. Aroma is flowers, dough, cloves, and a bit of lemon/banana mix. Flavor is a bit dry and tart. Much more bitter and acidic than most belgians. Some spiced banana doughiness too. Overall, pretty good.

May 24, 2008 Peppery clove doughy nose. Deep yellow-gold with a hint of orange, had a frothy sea foam head that lasted forever. Honey sweet, some sour notes and noticeable hop bitterness. Lighter bodied, huge bubbles, but the finish is smooth and lasted forever. Really nice beer.
