The flavors are fruity/yeasty, citrus(lemon), rich sweet (honey, candi sugar?) maltiness, and a following herbal hop bite in the finish. This is a really fun beer. A lot going on, but not at all intimidating or overly complex. note666 (289), Eindhoven, Netherlands

Poured 2 fingers of foam in a tulip. Smells a little like wet dog but mostly bready with some fruit. Has the classic Belgian ’hot’ yeasty flavor. A little bit sour which made it interesting. Doesn’t quite do it for me though, I’m not a fan of the perfume/soapy flavors. My buddy really likes lychee/bubblegum type yeast (which is what this reminds me of) but I’m more of a fan of the citrus/ fruit type... Still a very good beer overall. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 3, 2008 Pours a cloudy blond with quickly dissipating head. Mild aroma. Mine had a slightly metallic tinge in taste. Typical Belgian flavours, not too bitter, a bit sweet. Decent but nothing outstanding compared to many of it’s counterparts. alafito (334), tijuana, Mexico

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 1, 2008 Very approachable beer. Higher in alcohol than most beers, but not noticeable at all, which could be either good or bad. Still smooth and very pleasant. Lots of fruit tones to it, good on a warm lazy spring day. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
