A decent beer but not that great. SuperDave70 (1158), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA

Aroma was lots of yeast and fruit, with some slightly bitter tones. Flavor is more of the same, yeast and banana. Grapefruit is present, but sweeter than expected. Definately above average. gmonroe10 (172), Netherlands

Pours a slightly cloudy dark yellow-gold color with an ample sudsy white head that clumps-up and lasts a while. The aroma is moderate in strength with Belgian yeasts, cloves and a bit of banana. The flavor had plenty of banana and bit of sweet lagered malts. The mouthfeel is medium in texture, leaning a bit toward the malty and pasty. The finish shows a touch of biter but is mostly just candy sweet. Overall: Too sweet for me, I’ll pass on this one in the future, but lovers of sweet concoctions may want to consider. Recommended with reservations. topherbooth (5), USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Wonderfully complex for a blonde. Hints of banana, coriander, orange, chamomile. The finish is ideal for a Belgian. Use the right glass, though. JesseM (681), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Pours a really nice hazy pale straw colour with a huge white head, that grew to fill my snifter perfectly to the brim. Aroma: A little faint, but what there is is lovely. Some really nice banana on top of yeast. Taste: Reflective of the aroma, but very tasty actually. More of the banana (something I usually love in Belgian’s or Hefe’s). Some more fruity notes, oranges, along with some great yeasty flavours. Clove and some really nice spicy bite is what defines the finish along with a touch of alcohol. I was craving something of the Belgian sort today (as well as recently), and this one sure hit the spot! Very drinkable. Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil
