Not sure how that affected things. Poured a golden orange in color, large foamy head. Smelled of grapefruit and grass...Taste was fruity and very bubbly. Drinkable, just not a favorite of mine. dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Pours a murky brown orange with a tall healthy cream head. Some amount of spotty lacing. Smells yeasty and fruity. Peach and apricot. Flavour is yeast and ripe fruits. Alcohol presence increases hand in hand with temperature. Quite carbonated and light feel. Easy to drink. A very nice bitter finish balances and rounds out this beer nicely. Thumbs up for this one. riversideAK (2779), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2007 Light yeasty aroma with some skunkiness. Pours a hazy gold with a big bubbly head and lots of visible carbonation. The flavor tasted like a mix of generic Belgian Ale and Heineken. Was very carbonated and easy to drink, but was too skunky and somewhat metallic to be very enjoyable. elelwarren (138), SF Bay area, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Bottle poured into Tulip glass. Pours with a huge head. Cloudy & golden. Indeterminate fruity aroma. Flavor less pronounced at first: slightly grapey, moderately sweet, with a slightly dry & hoppy ending. Prickly carbonation, & rather thick in the mouth. Good drinking, but not magical. Naven (876), Poway, California, USA

At about $7 a six pack, it’s a go to session beer that I often pick up. Not a mind blowing ale by any means, but it’s simple and tasty. Fightfire4beer (125), Virginia, USA

Orange, small head. Heavy dense savoury aroma at first (though after sitting a while), but also some light notes too. Taste is both very light and also pleasantly hoppy. Grapey aroma, white grapes, in the taste too. When warmed and CO2 shaken out with a bit of swirling, the mouthfeel is smooth and tempting - a perfect example of Belgian excellence.
