| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Pours a hazy golden orange with a large white head that sticks around. Aroma is mostly of pilsner malts, with just a touch of light fruit. Yes, this is very consistent with the dubbel and tripel in that it’s just a smaller version; light fruits and spice in flavor. Authentically Belgian with the yeast strain. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium density. I like it. Nothing new; pretty much in line with all the other smaller Belgians, and I’m perfectly okay with that. Overall, good to very good. nickd717 (1389), Palo Alto, California, USA

Clear golden color with a large, lasting, creamy white head and some lacing. Aroma is pale malt, banana, and yeast. Mainly light fruity esters on the nose and a big sweet entry to boot. Goes down smooth, medium-high carbonation.
