| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Bottle. Hazy, orange golden colour with a good white head. Sweet, fruity and spicy aroma. Fruity flavours, sweet, but with good bitterness as well, leading towards a drier finish. Candy sugar. Hints of coriander. Fizzy, warming alcohol. Not bad. gnoff (3570), Göteborg, Sweden
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 24, 2007 (33 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Labeled 6.8% ABV. Clear golden color, big white lasting head. Acidic, almost sour, scent; fruity and also sweet with Belgian ale yeast notes. Sweet sugary, also yeast and alcohol taste, some spices. Spritzy high co2 mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Nothing special and the high co2 makes it tip to the lower end of the scale. sirpsycho (345), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Bottle. Actually ordered a Leffe Blonde, got this instead. Not much of an aroma, malty and yeasty. Slight fruits in taste, carbonation. Not bad, but then I was expecting one of my favorite session beers (Leffe) so I’m not sure this was a fair rating, will have to order it again to size it up better. saxo (3597), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Sampled on draft at Max’s Taphouse in a trappist glass. I chose this beer to close out the day, and got more than I had anticipated. It had a good aroma, mostly with fruity malt, with noticeable pear notes, and some yeastiness. The color was a rich gold, that was mostly clear, with an average-sized foamy white head. The flavor was mostly sweet, only slightly bitter and sour. It had a lively mouthfeel, with a good fizzyness and wetness. TheBeerOrg (1577), Kentucky, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Pours burnished gold with a big pillowing fluffy tan head and an effervescent body. Aroma of yeast esters, notes of pear, honey, and spicy citrus. Taste is lightly sweet and fruity, with pear and notes of crackery toasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a light and pleasing malt stickiness. Carbonation is foamy and aggressive, not quite as gentle and restrained as some of the finer Belgian ales. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2007 Bottle at the Winking Lizard - Pours golden with a pretty good sized white head that stayed well. Aromas of yeast, spice and some pear. Flavors of pear, apple, yeast, and pale malts. Fair carbonation and a light body make this very drinkable. Not bad..
