I never would have described it as Metallic, but Piscator hit it on the head. Man he’s good. I find a lot of Belgian ales taste like that.

330mL bottle. Pours a golden colour, some particles, with a bit of a hazy cloud moving through the glass. Spicy aroma, a bit citrusy as well. Citrus spiciness is present in the flavour as well. Lively carbonation, with a slight metallic aftertaste.

Poured a cloury yellow with an average sized head and excellent lacing. Nose was a nutty malts with lots of other aromas of citrus, spices, banana, and flowers. Fairly complex. Mouthfeel was medium and a touch astrigent, with a slight metallic zing. Flavors are of yeasts, spices, lemon, ahd very mild hops. Short finish. Overall I found this to be a very drinkable beer.

330 mL bottle from LCBO. Served cold in a tulip glass. MR 01/07

App.: Cloudy orange-golden, full off-white, foamy head. Aroma: Honey, citrus, sweet and spicy, yeast and bread dough, a little cheesy “stank”. Palate: Medium body, a touch astringent, somewhat effervescent carbonation. Flav.: Spicy, floral, honey, a little sweet, a bit of lemon, a bit of lingering mouth-coating.

Not bad, not mind-blowing.
